About the role

This position supports the mission of HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge by optimizing the quality of life of all those served, expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person.

Under the supervision of the Radiology Director, a Radiologist, and the manager or director of imaging, the sonographer performs procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients from neonate through geriatric. Responsibilities include maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and providing quality diagnostic results. When need arises, the sonographer will perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• RDMS Sonographer certification
• AHA or ARC BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography preferred, or on-the-job training meeting ARDMS qualifications
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred
