About the role
Seeking a Sonographer to operate ultrasound imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Proficiently operating imaging equipment and ensuring high-quality images.
- Maintaining patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
- Following protocols, adjusting machines, and adhering to safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Sonography program with clinical hours completed.
- At least one year of relevant experience.
- State licensure may be required.
- Certifications such as ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI, plus two advanced certifications.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of machine operation, safety, and emergency procedures.
- Adaptability to fast-paced, collaborative environments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged standing and walking.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling.
