Sonographer - Full Time

About the role

The Sonographer operates ultrasound and imaging equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The role demands technical proficiency, adherence to safety standards, and a strong focus on patient care. The sonographer collaborates with healthcare professionals and communicates effectively with patients to ensure high-quality imaging and accurate results.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound and imaging equipment following protocols and safety procedures.
• Ensure high-quality imaging standards and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support diagnosis and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Sonography program with clinical hours completed.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Possession of ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI certifications, plus advanced registries as applicable.

Skills

• Ability to operate equipment safely and respond to emergency procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
