Responsibilities
- Performing specialized ultrasound examinations such as pelvic, nuchal, cervical, anatomy scans, and gynecologic ultrasounds.
- Aiding patients, interpreting histories, and ensuring safety and comfort during procedures.
- Documenting patient information accurately and liaising with physicians.
- Supporting clinical staff and responding to patient emergencies.
- Adhering to safety policies and utilizing feedback for technique improvement.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
- ARODMS OBGYN certification within six months of hire; CPR and NT certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, ultrasound practice, and medical terminology.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and exercise sound judgment.
