Sonographer

About the role

This Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies, to assist in diagnosis and treatment. The position involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting independent exams, and documenting procedures. Responsibilities include performing on-call, portable, and site-specific studies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper equipment function
• Perform ultrasound examinations with proper documentation
• Assist with image-guided procedures like biopsies and drainages

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate degree or trade school equivalent
• RDMS or equivalent certification
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience, RDCS certification, CPR certification
• No supervisory experience required
• RVT registration required within one year of hire
