Sonographer

About the role

The Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies, to support diagnosis and treatment. This role is integral to a specialized, full-service ultrasound department committed to outstanding patient care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment readiness
• Independently conduct ultrasound exams
• Document procedures accurately
• Assist with needle-guided interventions such as biopsies and drainages

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate degree or trade school equivalent
• RDMS or similar certification
• Preferably 2+ years of experience
• Licenses such as CPR and RDCS are preferred

Additional Duties

• Participate in call, holiday, and weekend rotations
• Perform studies at various sites as needed
