Sonographer

Position Summary

The Sonographer will produce imaging using ultrasound technology to assist physicians with formulating a medical diagnosis while complying with safety and regulatory requirements. Specifically, the sonographer conducts ultrasound exams and documents clinically appropriate results for interpretive physicians and records.

Desired Professional Skills And Experience

• Successful completion of a sonography program at an accredited school
• Current registration with the American Registry of Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• CCI Preferred
• State licensure where required
• BCLS required
• Must be experienced in Echocardiogram or willing to cross train in Echocardiogram
• Take RVT board exam within one year of employment if not already certified

Qualifications

This position is for a sonographer already scanning most general type exams with additional cardiac experience or interested/willing to cross train to be able to perform echocardiogram.

Skills
