Sonographer

Position Overview: The Cardiovascular Sonographer performs advanced ultrasound imaging procedures to aid in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions. This role requires technical proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment, providing high-quality diagnostic images, and demonstrating strong patient care and communication skills. Responsibilities: Operate ultrasound machines, produce accurate diagnostic images, recognize technical abnormalities, and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain adherence to protocols and safety procedures, including radiation safety. Qualifications: Graduation from a Sonography program or on-the-job training with a registered preceptor. Certification through ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT, with eligibility to obtain registry if not already certified. Knowledge of machine operation, safety procedures, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Skills & Abilities: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, adaptability, and proficiency in producing diagnostic images. Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks like reaching, bending, and kneeling.
