About the Role

Performs diagnostic tests and scanning procedures utilizing ultrasound systems to assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Performs duties of Sonographer as it relates specifically to providing Obstetric-related procedures; explains procedures and special requirements to patients; adjusts equipment and evaluates images. Responsibilities

• Obtains and relays information related to procedures performed.
• Checks previous ultrasound studies for comparison and additional history.
• Confirms patient preparation.
• Presents images and concise history to the perinatologist.
• Confers with perinatologist about tentative diagnosis and observed radiological scan.
• Produces legible and comprehensive preliminary report(s) to the perinatologist.
• Ensures that an adequate clinical history is available to
