Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of scans including a mix of general, MSK, vascular, obstetrics and gynaecological studies.
• Enjoy a varied mix of hospital and private clinic work, as well as a state of the art, dedicated breast imaging clinic (if applicable).
• Weekend and on-call work available.
• Collaborate with radiologists and colleagues.
• Ensure rooms are restocked, cleaned and patients are finalized.

About You

• Graduate Diploma or Masters of Medical Ultrasound with current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
• Ideally 2+ years postgraduate ultrasound experience.
• An all-rounder with competencies in a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast, general, MSK, obstetrics and vascular.
• Prepared to participate in a rotating weekend on-call roster between 6pm - 8am.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programs.
• Experience with Canon and GE ideal.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.

Qualifications

• ASAR-accredited Sonographer (or eligible for registration).
• Graduate Diploma or Master's in Medical Sonography.
• Skill in general, obstetric, vascular, and MSK ultrasound.
• A commitment to quality care and continuous learning.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Australian Residency or full working rights in Australia.
