About the Role

Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire.
• East Market: Must be certified in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular within 24 months of hire date.

Experience

• 2 years clinical experience preferred.

Skills & Certifications

• Diagnostic ultrasound equipment operation
• Technical knowledge and skills appropriate for patient scanning
• ARDMS registration (required within 1 year)
• Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular certification (East Market, within 24 months)

• Compensation: $36.05 - $52.76 / hour
• Shift: Day/Eve/Night Rotation
• Hours: 80 hours per pay period (FTE 1.0)
• Weekends: Yes, rotating call coverage
• Call Obligations: Yes
