Join a healthcare team as a Cardiovascular Sonographer The Cardiovascular Sonographer performs advanced ultrasound imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions. Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment, capturing high-quality diagnostic images, and collaborating effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care. Qualifications Graduate of a Sonography program with clinical hours or on-the-job training with a registered preceptor.No prior experience required.State licensure may be necessary based on location.Certification through ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT, with a plan to obtain registry within 6 months if not already certified.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred Skills & Abilities Proficiency in producing diagnostic images and recognizing technical abnormalities.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative environments.Knowledge of protocols, machine operation, emergency procedures, and radiation safety.Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly.Prolonged standing and walking.Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
