About the role
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate clinical images following provider standards and protocols.
- Review test indications, contact providers for clarification, and report issues appropriately.
- Provide complete test data and maintain departmental policies, safety, and infection control standards.
- Assist with staff and student training, record analysis, and quality assurance activities.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a recognized technical or college program.
- Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification within one year.
- Six months to one year of related experience preferred, with vascular experience being a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively, maintain visual acuity, and work well in a team environment.
