Sonographer

About the role

The Sonographer works under the general direction of the Lead Sonographer and/or the Imaging Center Manager. Independently completes sonography procedures of specified anatomy as requested for subsequent evaluation by radiologists in accordance with established rules of good practice and established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonography procedures on specified anatomy as requested.
• Ensure procedures are completed in accordance with established rules of good practice and organizational policies.
• Prepare and present findings for evaluation by radiologists.
