In this position you will gain valuable knowledge of our Sonic Drill heads. Time will be spent mainly in the workshop, with opportunities to travel to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Train and repair Boart Longyear’s Sonic Drill Heads and support equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly to get drill heads back in operation
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment
• Work in adverse weather conditions and travel to jobsites
• Communicate effectively with supervisor, driller, and safety personnel
• Follow instructions closely and pay close attention to detail

Qualifications

• Hydraulic systems experience preferred
• Small engine repairs experience preferred
• Knowledge of duplex and triplex mud pumps preferred
• Failure analysis and root cause knowledge preferred
• Able to lift 50 pounds frequently
• Pass a drug screen and background check
• Valid driver’s license
• MSHA/OSHA certification required
