Solutions Consultant, Life Sciences
About the role
The Solutions Consultant plays a crucial role in helping life sciences clients achieve their business goals through the effective use of Definitive Healthcare's data assets. This includes gathering detailed requirements, developing clear Statements of Work, collaborating with internal teams, providing thought leadership, managing client relationships, and driving product adoption and retention.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in SQL (Databricks preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in technical RWD/RWE Analytics or similar healthcare-adjacent data roles
- 2+ years of client-facing experience in roles such as CSM, Account Executive, Consultant, or Solutions Engineer
- Expertise in medical claim coding terminology
- Experience with stakeholders in biopharma, pharmaceutical, or MedTech organizations
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and strong data storytelling skills
- High level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to present technical topics effectively
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with Databricks
- Knowledge of DRG, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS/CPT, and NDC
- Understanding of bringing new drugs, therapies, or medical devices to market
- Experience with data visualization and explaining complex analyses

Benefits
Compensation and benefits include a salary range of $106,000 - $197,000 per year, a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited paid time off, and participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with employer contribution.
