About the role

As an Enterprise Platforms and Systems Solutions Architect in AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS), you'll contribute to the digital transformation of a leading biopharma company, creating solutions that impact patients and their communities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support the in-depth technical expertise and direction on the architecture and technology needs of the platforms and applications within the Innovation, Architecture, and Infrastructure technology ecosystem.
  • Support the development of digital capabilities across the BTS Innovation, Architecture, and Infrastructure organization.
  • Partner with various business stakeholders, technology leads, architects, engineers, and partners.
  • Operate as the subject matter expert.
  • Enforce and advocate secure, safe, and compliant architecture and technology solutions.
  • Operate as the subject matter expert in application design, software development, and application architecture.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex applications in a cloud native or hybrid environment.
  • Proven implementation of creative technology solutions that advanced the business.
  • Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Coaching and mentoring IT resources to ensure effective and sustainable application designs.
  • Ability to travel globally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of experience, Master's Degree with 6 years of experience, PhD with 2 years of experience in application program development.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $109,500 - $208,500 USD. Final compensation will depend on many factors including geographic location.

Schedule

Full-time position starting on June 12, 2026.
