About the role

Join our team as a Solutions Architect and help us accelerate the U.S. War Department business as part of the World Wide Public Sector practice. This role offers opportunities to work with innovative teams, develop skills, and advance your career within a leading technology company.

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
• Defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, and developing deep expertise in AWS technologies
• Being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services
• Providing thoughtful technical design and sensitivity to customer needs in Defense markets for cloud computing
• Leading efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community
• Leveraging advisory and consulting experience with War Department customers

Requirements

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
• Bachelor's degree, or CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, or CSSLP
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Qualifications

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective

Skills

• Executive speaking and presentation skills
• Technical experience in development/deployment, cloud computing, containerization, networking, generative AI, etc.
• Operational experience in web site/services operations, management, and security
• Economic and business experience in RFP/Acquisition support, technical architecture, understanding market trends, cost benefit analysis, and advisory/consulting experience with War Department customers
