Responsibilities

• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
• Defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform
• Being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services
• Providing exceptional technical design and thought leadership to the Defense markets for cloud computing working with a world class sales and business development team
• Leading efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solution architect community
• Creating, building, educating, training and designing cloud computing architectures for War Department customers
• Deep-dive technical discussions around design and maintaining a pulse on industry trends

Requirements

• 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
• Must be a US Citizen

• Executive speaking and presentation skills – White board, small and large group presentations
• Technical – Web Services development/deployment experience, cloud computing
• Operational – Web site/services operations, management, and security
• Economic and business – RFP/Acquisition support; Technical architecture; understanding market trends; cost benefit analysis
• Advisory/Consulting experience with Defense Department customers
• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective

Pay

• USA, VA, Arlington: 131,300.00 - 177,600.00 USD annually
• USA, VA, Herndon: 131,300.00 - 177,600.00 USD annually
