Solutions Architect, Automotive & Manufacturing

About the role

As a Global Solutions Architect (SA), you will develop the technology strategy for one of our largest global enterprise customers. You will interface with senior executive leaders and cloud architects to build relationships and enable them as cloud advocates. You will help the customer become an AI-Enabled Enterprise by implementing leading-edge technologies, designing advanced cloud-based solutions, adopting cloud best practice designs, and modernizing enterprise workloads in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Interface with senior executive leaders and cloud architects to build relationships and enable them as cloud advocates.
• Help the customer become an AI-Enabled Enterprise by implementing leading-edge technologies, designing advanced cloud-based solutions, adopting cloud best practice designs, and modernizing enterprise workloads in the cloud.
• Partner with various AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that solve customer business problems, build mindshare, and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
• Drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth across a wide portfolio of technologies in collaboration with the sales team.
• Think strategically about business challenges and articulate technical solutions to solve those problems.
• Share best practices with peers, generate internal and external technical content, and participate in hiring activities to grow the community.

Requirements

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage.

Qualifications

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
• Experience working with end user or developer communities.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.

Skills

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to connect technologies to measurable business value, think strategically about business challenges, and articulate technical solutions to solve those problems. They should also have a strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions, enterprise technology adoption patterns, and past experience with cloud technologies.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually.

Schedule

Open to traveling 25% domestically with some international.
