About the role
This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a consumer-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Define and oversee enterprise AI architecture, aligning with business goals and technology strategies
- Lead the integration and evaluation of open-source AI frameworks into the enterprise architecture
- Architect end-to-end AI solutions focused on core retail domains such as demand forecasting and personalization
- Implement an AI observability framework to monitor model performance and system health across production environments
- Establish AI security standards and practices to protect against vulnerabilities in ML systems
- Develop MLOps practices to streamline model deployment and retraining processes
- Champion the use of AI productivity tools across architecture and delivery workflows
Qualifications
- 9+ years in software, data, or AI engineering; 5+ years in AI/ML architecture roles
- Experience in delivering production AI solutions in retail or consumer-facing sectors is essential
- Deep expertise in open-source AI/ML tools like Hugging Face, LangChain, and MLflow
- Strong Python and ML framework skills, particularly with PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Experience with modern data architectures and platforms like Databricks and Snowflake
- Proven ability in designing AI observability systems including drift detection and monitoring solutions
- Familiarity with AI security practices, including threat models and secure model deployment
Pay
$120,000 – $150,000 annually
