Solutions Analyst I

About the Role

The Solutions Analyst position supports the analytics team within ODW LTS by cleaning and analyzing internal and external customer data, helping to create companywide metrics, and playing a vital role on the analytical team.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of data from both technical and functional/business perspectives.
• Compile data from various sources into a single, consumable data set.
• Work with business leaders to identify and develop metrics to track performance and highlight potential issues and inefficiencies.
• Monitor data quality and maintain key processes.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to data quality.
• Document process flows when building out business ideas.

Requirements

• Ability to process, sort, and use data to tell a clear and compelling story.
• Skilled in communicating technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and reasoning when facing large or ambiguous issues.
• Familiar with best practices for data mining, data cleansing, and data visualization.
• Proficient with data manipulation tools such as SQL, MATLAB, Stata, R, Excel, Python.
• Familiar with creating, refining, documenting, and automating processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (required).
• Educational background/coursework in computer science, data science, engineering, information systems, economics, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong business acumen – financially literate.
• Experience in supply chain or logistics.
