Internship Program Overview
Our Futures Program is designed for students who want to gain real-world experience while making a meaningful impact. During this 10-week summer experience, participants work on hands-on projects, build connections with leaders and associates across Netsmart, and take part in professional development, networking, and social events. As a Future, you'll gain valuable skills, explore healthcare technology, and experience a culture built on collaboration, innovation, and purpose, all while contributing to work that truly matters.
If you aren't local to the Kansas City Metro, we will have housing options for you available (certain criteria will have to be met to qualify for housing).
About the Role
The Delivery Consultant is a crucial member of our implementation team, working to customize Netsmart’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) software for clients. Associates in this role collaborate with clients while troubleshooting and assisting in improving solution functionality while working in both an office environment as well as remotely at a client site. You will work in conjunction with other consulting members, as well as designated client representatives, daily. Exceptional communication skills and eagerness to learn are critical traits of a Delivery Consultant. Requirements
- Rising Senior or Rising Junior with graduation date for bachelor's or master's of December 2027, May 2028, December 2028, or May 2029
- Working towards completion of a BA/BS degree in MIS, IS, IT, or Business
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite or other applications)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and being comfortable presenting to audiences
- Ability to take initiative and manage multiple detailed tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Demonstrates achievement in academics, internships, co-ops, or other work experience (preferably involving business, clinical, analytical, and/or technical coursework)
