About the role
Our consulting team in Houston, TX is expanding and seeking interns graduating in December 2027 or May 2028. Interns will work as members of project teams and/or on special projects, engaging in rigorous analysis to drive insights and conclusions. You will collaborate closely with clients, quickly deploy knowledge, and work across energy sectors—from traditional oil and gas to midstream infrastructure and energy transition sectors like renewables, hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage.
This role is primarily based at the Rystad Energy office in Houston, TX, with potential travel to client sites as required.
Responsibilities
- Work as a member of project teams or on special projects requiring analytical rigor.
- Conduct challenging assignments to derive actionable insights and conclusions.
- Engage closely with clients and rapidly learn and apply new knowledge.
- Work across energy sectors based on project needs, including oil and gas, midstream infrastructure, renewables, hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree (graduating December 2027 or May 2028).
- Strong academic track record in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, finance, economics).
- Proven analytical, quantitative, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in learning about the energy industry and the energy transition.
