Role Overview
We are seeking a portfolio lead to provide leadership and oversight for Solutions Architecture for Business Applications. In this role, you will lead several visible initiatives to support Multifamily Business and Engineering teams. You will guide your team through a transformation into Agile Architecture, aligning with the Modern Delivery methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Introduce the overall technical vision for a solution by defining and establishing the solution architecture.
- Define High Level Solution Intent, target state architectures, and their roadmaps for portfolio products by collaborating with business and IT partners.
- Define and create reference architectures and architecture/design patterns for consistent implementation of architecture roadmaps.
- Own and drive the development and maintenance of detailed solution intent and product architecture for responsible ARTs (information, application, technology, security, and deployment viewpoints).
- Plan and develop Architectural Runway in support of new business Features and Capabilities.
- Identify solution alternatives and new technologies to meet business needs or address concerns such as customer experience, operational efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Leverage Generative AI and AI/ML capabilities, within enterprise governance, to enhance business capabilities.
- Collaborate with business and IT customers to drive product research, RFP/vendor interviews, and POC activities for COTS solutions.
- Work with development leads on design brainstorming and review to ensure alignment with architecture, patterns, and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Education: An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience:
- 18+ years of overall experience.
- 15+ years of Java development experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Solution Architect, with the ability to understand business problems and interact with stakeholders.
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with design patterns and architectural patterns.
- Extensive experience in Solution Architecture patterns such as micro-front ends, microservices, and 12-factor applications.
- Hands-on and architectural experience with modern Cloud-Native architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
- An advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience with AI/ML.
- 3+ years of relevant large-scale enterprise transformation experience as it relates to architecture.
- Prior experience in the primary or secondary mortgage industry is desirable.
- Deep knowledge of various enterprise-level platforms widely used in the industry is preferred.
