About the role

Solution Architects at Missionforce are key advisors to clients, driving complex engagements in the Defense & National Security space. They provide architectural leadership, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver scalable, mission-aligned solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide architectural leadership across large and complex engagements
  • Partner with executive and delivery stakeholders to co-create and execute solution visions
  • Design and deliver scalable, mission-aligned solutions
  • Ensure mission-critical programs are set up to deliver measurable outcomes
  • Shape, scope, and align complex engagements to position federal customers for long-term success
  • Manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions to complex problems
  • Review and correct project/program direction, approach, and key artifacts to keep programs on track
  • Drive a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies
  • Convey and convince customers of best practices at various levels within a large organization

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture or consulting experience on the Salesforce Platform throughout the whole life cycle with repeated and demonstrable success
  • Clearance. Active Secret, TS or TS/SCI (a must)
  • Expert in Salesforce configuration and architectural strategy, translating current-state complexity into clear target-state designs, closing capability gaps, and delivering solutions that enable achievement of critical business and mission outcomes
  • Experience leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories and providing detailed system and functional designs
  • Experience in documenting business processes and wire-framing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc. as well as making recommendations for future state improved processes and system designs
  • Strong presentation skills; able to effectively present a point of view and clearly articulate the rationale to a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience
  • A great listener with the ability to connect with people in diverse roles
  • Resourceful and innovative thinker who can work through and solve problems

Qualifications

  • Must be Metro DC located
  • Multiple Salesforce Core Architecture certifications
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
  • Experience in public sector digital transformation initiatives
  • Hands-on experience with Public Sector Solutions (“Agentforce Public Sector”)
  • Hands-on experience with Omni Studio
  • Application design and development background

Pay

The typical base salary range for this position is $150,100 - $273,000 annually. Specific ranges may vary by location.
