Solution Architect - Security
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Solution Architect - Security to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will partner closely with sales, architects, executives, and channel partners to shape security-focused solutions that address customer needs and strengthen technical confidence in the buying process. The ideal candidate will combine deep security architecture expertise with strong pre-sales skills, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value and credible technical guidance. You will help drive solution design, workshops, demos, and proof-of-concept efforts while supporting strategies for resilient recovery, identity protection, and hybrid-cloud environments. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical win in security deals, including discovery, solution design, and demonstrations.
- Serve as the security architecture subject matter expert for architects and executives.
- Architect reference solutions and lead technical workshops and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Produce executive-level technical narratives and business cases.
- Understand account technology and leverage partner ecosystems for joint solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of pre-sales engineering and architecture experience in security.
- Experience designing and deploying ransomware-recovery architectures and identity-resilience systems.
- Strong foundation in backup and recovery, storage, and hybrid-cloud infrastructures.
- Proficiency in core security concepts and Active Directory/Entra ID architecture.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and executive audiences.

Pay
Compensation: $240,000 – $300,000 annually
