Solution Architect, Lead
About the role
The Solution Architect, Lead role at Booz Allen is seeking a seasoned data scientist with 7+ years of experience as a solution architect, technical lead, or data analytics SME. With 3+ years of experience supporting the Department of State Center for Analytics, this role requires experience with AI models, Gen AI, and data platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience developing technical AI architectures and AI governance and processes, and possess a Secret clearance. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, while a Master’s degree is a nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Use leadership skills and data science expertise to create real-world impact
- Work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs
- Dig into data-rich environments to find pieces of the information puzzle
- Guide and mentor your team as you oversee the development of algorithms and systems
- Develop technical AI architectures and AI governance and processes
- Identify new opportunities to use data science solutions to help clients meet their toughest challenges
- Provide a deep understanding of the data, its meaning, and how it can be used
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a solution architect, technical lead, or data analytics SME
- 3+ years of experience supporting the Department of State Center for Analytics
- Experience working with AI models, Gen AI, and data platforms
- Experience developing technical AI architectures and AI governance and processes

- Nice if you have: Experience designing and deploying AI solutions, experience with federal IT stack platforms, such as Databricks, Palantir, Oracle, SAP, .NET, SQL Server, Azure, or AWS GovCloud, Top Secret clearance, Master’s degree

Pay
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $112,800 to $257,000 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
