Solution Architect – Data Governance || Hybrid in Bellevue, WA || Urgent Role

About the role

Senior Data Governance Solution Architect position requiring FAANG or Tier-1 product company experience. This role leads enterprise data governance architecture, AI governance, and security/compliance architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance, AI governance, security, and compliance architecture
• Design and implement semantic layer and metric catalog solutions
• Architect metadata management and lineage across the enterprise
• Establish and maintain enterprise data modeling and governance standards
• Architect REST APIs, event-driven systems, and metadata/lineage infrastructure

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture
• Mandatory experience with FAANG or Tier-1 product companies
• Enterprise data governance and strategy experience
• Hands-on experience with OpenMetadata, Collibra, or Ataccama
• Expertise with Databricks, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, dbt, and Power BI
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and event-driven architecture
• Experience with metadata management and data lineage
• Deep understanding of enterprise data modeling and governance standards
