About the role
Partner with customers to model pipelines, design data architectures and guide successful go-lives on Pipevia.
Responsibilities
- Design ELT architectures across sources, transforms and loads
- Model incremental strategies and CDC with warehouse-native SQL
- Define observability: metrics, alerts, lineage and SLAs
- Lead pilots and migrate pipelines to production
- Author best-practice guides and reusable templates
- Work closely with product to shape roadmap
- Train customer teams and run office hours
- Assist with incident response during rollouts
- Travel occasionally for on-site workshops
Requirements
- 5+ years in analytics engineering or data platform roles
- Strong SQL and warehouse experience (Snowflake/BigQuery etc.)
- Hands-on with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
Skills
- Kafka/Kinesis and streaming micro-batch patterns (bonus)
- Terraform/CLI automation (bonus)
- Public speaking or customer-facing experience (bonus)
