Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to recommend solutions based on best practices, performance, security, and cost optimization.
- Translate customer requirements and high-level architecture into detailed technical designs.
- Establish and enforce development standards, design models, and code reuse strategies.
- Partner with Product Owners and Enterprise Architects to define program specifications and provide development estimates.
- Ensure application runtime environments remain current and develop mitigation strategies for system stability.
- Design secure AWS environments and promote Agile and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed organization.
- Support long-term strategic development planning and digital product innovation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of systems/software design experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with C#, .NET, .NET Core, and Python.
- 3+ years of SQL programming experience.
- 3+ years of experience delivering solutions within Agile teams.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, DevOps, and Serverless technologies (Docker, Kinesis, Lambda, EventBridge).
- Experience with XML, JSON, Windows Services, IIS, Oracle, Linux, Postgres, DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, CloudFormation templates, AWS CDK.
- Strong understanding of networking, AWS infrastructure, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication, consultative, and time management skills.
- Experience working in highly matrixed environments.
- Telematics experience is a plus.
