Solution Architect

About the role

The Enterprise Solutions Architect will work with the wider IT department to understand internal stakeholders' IT and business needs, propose and design solutions that align with the company's value proposition, and ensure that the solutions meet high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.

The ideal candidate should have experience in consultative and complex technical deployment and support of highly distributed applications, as well as experience implementing large-scale data projects within the cloud environment. The candidate should also have a breadth of technical experience and knowledge, with expertise in at least two or more of the following areas: SQL, NoSQL databases, big data, data storage technologies, data governance, data engineering, and data estate workloads.

• Design, commission, and enhance new or current subject areas.
• Implement new or upgraded cloud data strategies and Microsoft Azure platforms.

Conceptual knowledge and/or experience with artificial intelligence (AI) and other automation platforms & technology is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution in computer science.
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience as an Enterprise Solutions Architect or in a related field.
• Prior professional services experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Azure, Informatica, and Snowflake experience.

Prior working experience using ServiceNow or Workday is a plus but not required.

Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay

The salary range is $125,000 - $155,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
