Solder Technician, PTH & Selective - 2nd shift

Key Responsibilities
- Solder electronic components on PCBs using through-hole techniques.
- Set up, operate, and perform basic maintenance on selective solder machines.
- Program, adjust, and monitor selective solder machines to maintain proper solder levels, temperatures, and flux application.
- Follow assembly instructions, schematics, and diagrams to ensure correct component placement and orientation.
- Inspect assembled products to ensure proper functionality and workmanship per IPC standards.
- Repair defects in soldered components such as missing/insufficient solder, lifted leads, solder bridges, cold solder joints, wrong orientation, and etc.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with ESD and safety requirements.
- Meet production quotas and deadlines.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with through-hole soldering on PCBs.
- Proven experience operating and programming selective solder machines.
- Ability to use hand tools and equipment such as soldering irons, tweezers, and microscopes.
- Ability to read and interpret machine programs, setup sheets, and work instructions.
- Good eyesight and manual dexterity.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- A high school diploma, General Education Development (GED) certificate, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with assembly instructions, schematics, and diagrams.
- J-STD-001 & IPC-A-610 certifications.
- Familiarity with SMT processes and pick & place machine operation.
- Experience with ERP or manufacturing execution systems.
