Solar Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Venture Solar is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible role.

Responsibilities

• Properly organize warehouse to ensure all material is accessible, countable, and identifiable
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse with accurate inventory and prepare all installation kits on time
• Pull material, restock installation crew vans, and return excess materials
• Review and document inventory count to ensure accuracy within the warehouse daily
• Complete auditable records: packing slips, pick lists, and job closeout paperwork
• Deliver materials to job sites when needed
• Use computer software system to issue and receive material

Requirements

• Must have warehouse experience in the solar field
• Ability to use a forklift to load and unload trucks
• Mechanical aptitude to pre-assemble parts
• Able to perform repetitive duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time
• Must be able to handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
• Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success
• Computer skills are preferred

Qualifications

• Valid, Active Driver’s License in the State of hire and Forklift Certification

Benefits

Full time work 40+ hours, overtime pay for over 40 hours in 1 week. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible role. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. $20.00-$23.00 per hour.
