Solar Site Visit Technician

About the role

The site visit technician visits homes and businesses to collect information for the pre-contract process, including taking measurements and pictures to assess suitability for solar installation. This includes inspecting electrical equipment and roof conditions. Exact Solar uses a drone with special software for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Collect detailed information about the home or business during site visits
• Assess electrical equipment and roof conditions
• Use a drone with special solar design software for site visits
• Earn an FAA drone pilot license for independent site visits
• Interact with customers to answer questions and provide information
• Follow an organized data collection process
• Communicate with the sales team to understand special information requests

Qualifications
