Core Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve inverter, battery, optimizer, and module issues
- Replace solar equipment and perform system expansions
- Conduct site surveys and complete system quality inspections
- Perform string testing and irradiance testing
- Commission and recommission solar PV systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot wiring and electrical terminations
- Interface with customers to explain findings, options, and next steps
- Complete timely and accurate field reports and documentation
- Follow OSHA Safety Standards and Company-specific PPE Requirements
- Maintain company tools, vehicles, and inventory
- Collaborate with team members and support company goals
- Perform additional tasks as directed by leadership

- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Proficient in solar technology, safety requirements, and wiring fundamentals
- Able to follow specific instructions and write clear, detailed field reports
- Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops
- Strong time management and prioritization in a fast-paced service environment
Required Education And Experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on solar service experience
- 6+ years of total solar experience strongly preferred
- Must be certified and experienced with: Enphase (inverters, batteries), SolarEdge (inverters, optimizers), Panasonic Evervolt, Tesla, SMA, SunPower, and similar systems
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
