Solar Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Train and implement the SafeStart behavior-based safety program
• Lead team safety committee meetings
• Coordinate daily job site inspections using Smart Safety Pro
• Assign and follow up on corrective actions
• Provide guidance on safety best practices and new product implementation
• Coach and hold the line on safety standards
• Conduct training sessions including work instructions and competent person training
• Develop and update training presentations and hands-on training materials

Qualifications

• Background in construction safety; solar or renewable energy experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards
• Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
