Solar Maintenance Technician, Residential Service

The Service Installer is an essential member of Tesla’s Field Energy Operations team, dedicated to accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy. Key responsibilities include:

• Serving as a key member of the crew, supporting the Crew Lead and Electrician
• Attending weekly team meetings and mandatory training sessions
• Managing time and tasks effectively with a sense of urgency
• Providing exceptional customer experiences

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

• Experience in roof work, general construction, or carpentry (preferred)
• Ability to safely handle power tools, hand tools, and materials like ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other electrical equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Mandatory travel for up to 2 weeks at a time, several times a year to various locations within the US
• Must have compliant government-issued identification for domestic air travel and/or access to certain federal facilities
• Must be able to work at great heights, in extreme environments, perform prolonged periods of repetitive duties, and lift at least 50 pounds frequently
