Key Responsibilities
- Participate in project planning activities, including reviews of drawings, specifications, and construction requirements to ensure projects are positioned for success.
- Review, forecast, and manage project material requirements while maintaining budget and schedule objectives.
- Develop, implement, and improve construction processes and procedures to support project execution and client requirements.
- Establish and oversee project testing and commissioning procedures to ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with design requirements, budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
- Coverage with project stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure project objectives are achieved.
- Work closely with field leadership to ensure adequate manpower, equipment, and resources are available to maintain project schedules and production goals.
- Provide technical input regarding project specifications, construction approaches, and design considerations.
- Maintain project quality and ensure construction activities comply with applicable standards, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Stay informed on industry developments, construction best practices, and emerging solar technologies, sharing relevant information with project teams.
- Travel to project sites as required.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong understanding of utility-scale solar construction practices and field operations.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management, construction management, or related leadership experience within the solar industry.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry-standard project management software.
- Ability to provide oversight and support for multiple projects across a broad geographic territory.
