About the Role
The CAD Technician supports an assigned group of engineers by providing technical drafting support and creating construction drawings and designs within the Solar department. Design-related work is also available to CAD Technicians who are qualified or willing to learn. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and work well within a team.
Responsibilities
- Complete design and drafting tasks for solar projects.
- Create construction drawings and designs.
Requirements
- Two-year technical degree in Technical Drafting.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (required).
- Knowledge of PVFARM, PVCase, or other utility-scale PV software (a plus).
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and software (a plus).
- Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Knowledge of PV electrical and mechanical design (beneficial).
- Good organization and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn about PV designs.
- Permanent authorization to work in the U.S.

Pay
Target base compensation range for this role is $30.75 - $34.25 hourly.
