Job Responsibilities Oversee and develop test plans, test schedule, and approachWrites test cases and scripts and identifies data for test scenariosConducts a walk through on test case/script with Test Managers, Requirement Leads, Project Managers, and Development LeadsPerforms and leads tests of software and/or IT systems to ensure proper operation and freedom from defectsPerforms verification activities on work products using defined methods, procedures and criteria with an appropriate verification environmentCreates daily test metrics and reporting; communicates test resultsSupports analysis of test results and resolution of open issuesDocuments and works to resolve all complex problem and reports progress on problem resolution to managementDevises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations Qualifications Required Education BS degree with five (5) years of experience; Six (6) years of additional experience accepted in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle) Required Skills Understanding of software test methodologiesProven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams in organizationally complex environmentsStrong organizational and multitasking skills, with significant experience leading concurrent mission operationsWorking knowledge of test range planning and coordinationExcellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with an ability to present to technical and non-technical audiencesExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong attention to detail and follow-through skillsExperience using version control software Required Clearance Must have an active Secret Security Clearance
