Software Tester

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and sustain mechanical technologies for hot tapping and plugging applications.
• Transition new tools from development through testing to deployment, ensuring reliability and compliance.
• Develop and assemble prototypes, verifying functionality against test plans.
• Design new test vessels and fixtures using CAD software.
• Conduct research for product enhancements and perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical systems.
• Create and review engineering documentation, including calculations and FEA, and develop test plans for project milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in product development or testing.
• Proven experience with engineering testing, validation, and data acquisition.
• Strong background in engineering calculations, design, and FEA.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software, with SolidWorks preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
