About the Role

The F-35 Core Processing Software (CPSW) Development Team is looking to expand the support of production test activities (CSCI Test Team). This position is primarily for Software Test Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and create safety-critical test cases to ensure proper behavior of the air vehicle.
- Perform software quality testing and produce engineering documentation about test activities, including Software Quality Test Report Summaries and Software Problem Anomaly Reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform root cause analysis for failing test cases and communicate findings to the CPSW development team for resolution.
- Develop automation utilities and applications to improve test quality and efficiency.
- Adhere to the Software Evidence Assurance Level 1 process (SEAL1).
- Develop C++ software, create scripts, and perform unit testing.
Requirements
- Experience with C++, Python, and GitLab.
- Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM discipline from an accredited college/university.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Candidates may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with object-oriented design patterns.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Schedule
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
