Responsibilities
- Partner directly with software and ML leadership for execution strategy and resource planning
- Translate product and scientific ambitions into actionable engineering milestones
- Build and utilize AI-powered tools for progress tracking and operational efficiency
- Own execution and manage dependencies across teams to resolve blockers
- Structure release readiness and deployment schedules with clear data for team confidence
- Engage closely in engineering and ML work, including design reviews and code reading
- Develop technical intuition about AI systems, identifying bottlenecks and integration challenges
Qualifications
- 10+ years of combined experience in software engineering, ML engineering, or applied ML, along with a program management role
- Demonstrated understanding of the ML development lifecycle and efficient shipping of ML systems
- Strong software fluency, able to read code and participate in technical discussions in real-time
- Direct experience in driving technical execution, delivering complex, multi-team engineering projects
- Fluency with modern AI tools and their application to project management
- Strong judgment under ambiguity, establishing clarity in undefined project spaces
- Clear communicator who bridges technical and non-technical stakeholders
