Responsibilities
- Work with internal stakeholders on product software development priorities, schedule, and tradeoffs
- Clarify product software goals more than manage activity towards unclear goals
- Collaborate with peers and other functions across hardware and software engineering to understand the dependencies between work streams and implement best practices around program management
- Support teams in identifying and mitigating blockers and risks to delivering high quality software features to customers while continuously improving release processes and tools
- Model transparency in communication, ensuring all teams have the context they need to make good product decisions
- Align cross-functional teams around the scope and urgency of requests and changes by avoiding siloed messaging
- Manage programs with a light touch - helping teams stay focused on delivering the product vision through high level planning and facilitation
- Contribute to process documentation and help maintain the accuracy of data in our program management tools. Make recommendations to improve our ways of working
- Contribute to other areas of the product that interest you beyond your day-to-day program management duties
Requirements
- Previously worked with complex cross-functional software deliverables involving multiple teams and evolving priorities
- Communicate clearly and succinctly with both engineering teams and the rest of the company
- Show good judgement and often consider the impact of communications and actions on others
- Have a sense of responsibility for the success of the engineering teams and the product, measuring that success in their terms
- Be thorough and organized without losing big picture focus
- Build trust by following through with integrity and leading by example
- Motivate and empower teams with humility and respect
- Not be intimidated by ambiguity but find creative ways to navigate through it
- Work hours that correspond to working hours in the US Pacific timezone
- Be energized by the thought of operating between traditional roles and silos

- Get excited about a wide range of technical topics and dig really deeply into them
Qualifications
- Experience with complex cross-functional software deliverables involving multiple teams and evolving priorities
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Good judgement and consideration for the impact of communications and actions on others
- A sense of responsibility for the success of the engineering teams and the product, measured in their terms
- Thorough and organized approach without losing big picture focus
