Software Support Engineer
About the role
Serve as the first line of support via phone and email for customers experiencing issues with our Invar Warehouse System (IWS) software. Collaborate with customers and internal teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues with IWS software packages. Maintain, track, and escalate support tickets as needed to ensure timely resolutions. Monitor customer production environments to identify and proactively address potential issues. Assist in testing new software releases and custom implementations, providing valuable feedback to the development team. Set up internal development PCs and test servers to support new implementations. Travel to customer sites (up to 25%) to deliver hands-on, on-site support, including commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of automated warehouse equipment.

Requirements
- A recommended degree in Computer Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A working knowledge of SQL (preferred but not required) and experience with Windows environments (required).
- Experience with C# .NET is a plus.
- An ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
