Software Sales Executive

About the role
This full-time position is based in the United States. Training and orientation on tools will be provided, along with performance-based sales commissions in addition to a salary.
Responsibilities
- Hunt and identify new business opportunities within the North America sales territory, focusing on mid-market, large, and enterprise segments (500–10,000 employees) as well as non-named national accounts.
- Through direct calling, email, and other contact efforts, identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities by engaging key decision-makers.
- Complement prospecting and selling efforts with field work, including conferences, webinars, and customer face-to-face meetings.
- Perform online demonstrations of software products for sales prospects and partners.
- Respond to RFIs and RFPs from businesses and local/state governments.
- Achieve monthly revenue goals by selling to large companies across multiple business verticals.
- Create pricing proposals for prospective clients.
- Collaborate with sales team members, managers, and partners to meet overall sales goals.
- Attend or travel to tradeshows and virtual events as needed.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of solid sales experience, preferably in B2B and the technology field involving SaaS software.
- Recent sales experience with a track record of success is required.
- Telemarketing, inside sales, customer service, or other relevant experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and generate new business through extensive prospecting and research.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with revenue deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus.
- A college degree is preferred but not required.
