Software Sales Account Manager

As a Software Sales Account Manager, you'll own the sales process from prospecting to close, delivering productivity gains and real cost savings to AEC customers. This is a high-energy role for someone who is competitive, curious, and eager to grow in the software and construction technology space.
This is a remote outside sales position covering eastern WA and north ID.
Responsibilities
- Generate qualified leads, win new business, and expand relationships with existing customers
- Prospect daily via phone, email, and targeted outreach (30+ calls per day)
- Build, manage, and nurture your pipeline using CRM tools
- Research market opportunities and develop strategic sales plans
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate the value of Autodesk construction solutions
- Create excitement and enthusiasm among prospects through consultative selling
- Attend trade shows, customer events, and marketing activities
- Cultivate long-term, trusted customer relationships
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Solve customer challenges, sometimes with limited guidance, using creativity and initiative
- Sell Topcon construction products in an assigned territory
- Prepare written sales planning materials regarding potential customers and forecasting
- Develop new customer accounts by selling and promoting the value of Topcon products
- Develop strategies for the adaptation of Topcon technology
- Obtain and compile data on market trends, competitive products, and pricing
- Prepares bids and proposals, negotiates contracts, and agreements
- Negotiate pricing of products to customers and maintain customer contact
- Develop and document customer visits
- Participate in regional and national trade shows
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 1–5 years of sales experience (AEC industry experience strongly preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic
- Competitive, self-motivated, high-energy, and results-driven
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn Autodesk products and the AEC industry
- A proven track record of achieving personal and professional goals
- BS in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in civil engineering, construction, or survey and/or experience in Sales
- Superior listening and interpersonal skills
- Ability to successfully work in teams
- Sound business and financial acumen
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Open to travel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High energy level, possesses stamina, able to work long hours
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Able to be a leader in both personal and business endeavors

Pay
Expected Base Pay Range: $65,000 to $90,000 Annualized. In addition to base pay, compensation for this position includes eligibility for certain Sales Incentives/Commissions.
