• Ability to interpret software design and code to verify the implementation of requirements

Responsibilities

• Support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP)
• Inclusion of requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery

Requirements

• Experience and/or knowledge of languages such as C or C++
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting
• The position is located at a facility that requires special access

Qualifications

• Knowledge of configuration management and control tools
• Technical knowledge of a related discipline (e.g., Quality Engineering, System Safety, Engineering, Manufacturing, Integration & Test)
• Experience in supporting Agile/Scrum software development
• Knowledge of Git, ClearQuest, ClearCase, DOORS, and/or other Configuration Management tools
• Knowledge of test planning, processing, and addressing nonconformance to include root cause analysis and corrective action development
• Knowledge of establishing quality assurance performance metrics for identifying process improvement

Skills

• Ability to read/write code in C, C++, and/or Java
• Some travel (although infrequent) will be required for this position to support program objectives
• Proficient skill with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Ability to work off-shifts and weekends
