Responsibilities
- Support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP)
- Inclusion of requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery
Requirements
- Experience and/or knowledge of languages such as C or C++
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting
- The position is located at a facility that requires special access
Qualifications
- Knowledge of configuration management and control tools
- Technical knowledge of a related discipline (e.g., Quality Engineering, System Safety, Engineering, Manufacturing, Integration & Test)
- Experience in supporting Agile/Scrum software development
- Knowledge of Git, ClearQuest, ClearCase, DOORS, and/or other Configuration Management tools
- Knowledge of test planning, processing, and addressing nonconformance to include root cause analysis and corrective action development
- Knowledge of establishing quality assurance performance metrics for identifying process improvement
Skills
- Ability to read/write code in C, C++, and/or Java
- Some travel (although infrequent) will be required for this position to support program objectives
- Proficient skill with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to work off-shifts and weekends
