Associate Engineer Software Quality
U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. No relocation assistance or travel is required for this fully on-site position in Buffalo, NY.

Responsibilities
- Supports software inspection, testing, verification, and validation.
- Implements and oversees software development and maintenance methods.
- Ensures reliability measures meet acceptable standards.
- Defines operating criteria to align the software quality program with project, process, and contract objectives.
- Guarantees project and process-control documentation complies with requirements and contracts.
- Contributes to reviews of software designs, change specifications, and plans for contractual and process compliance.
- Evaluates applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
- Verifies software requirement allocation, traceability, and testability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, CIS, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledgeable of the software development lifecycle and methodologies, including Agile.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, CIS, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
- Experience with software quality processes, procedures, and related process-control documentation, ensuring compliance.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Experience with Software Quality Assurance standards and best practices.
Pay
Primary level salary range: $63,000.00 – $94,600.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; base salary offers consider the scope and responsibilities of the position, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
